Cozy Carpets was started by Murray in 2016, a floor layer with 19 year’s experience in the industry. The business has grown rapidly since then, opening a shop in 2018 and employing and training 5 members of staff. Alongside this growth, we have quickly gained a reputation for providing a reliable, great value and quality service throughout Doncaster and surrounding areas.

We supply and install all qualities and quantities of commercial and domestic floor coverings throughout Doncaster and surrounding areas for a competitive price. All our work is insurance backed for complete peace of mind and our attention to detail is second to none. Our dedicated team approach all environments in a respectful, professional manner and will treat your home or premises as if it was their own. It is these reasons why our customer base is largely made up of existing customers and recommendations to friends and family. We are a company you can trust to do right by you.

Our Workforce

At the heart of Cozy Carpets is our diverse team. Our shop manager and book-keeper is Angie, Murray’s mother. As a proud family run business, we are committed to hiring and training staff from the local community. Our dedicated team are all from the DN5 post code and receive the highest level of training. We know that our investment into their development will be passed on to our loyal customers. Our fitters in the shop are Shane (who fits all our carpets and vinyl floor coverings) and Alan (who is our dedicated laminate fitter). We are passionate about employing apprentices and giving youths in the local area an opportunity and career path to follow. In 2018 we employed Rhys as an apprentice who has shown great promise, he is now full qualified and has been with us for nearly 4 years. In March 2021, we took on Tom and look forward to seeing him develop with us. All our apprentices undertake a national qualification through outside training and are also trained under our supervision to meet our company standards. Murray, Rhys and Tom mainly concentrate on contract flooring although do fit domestic flooring when required.

Community Values

As a company we take pride in valuing our local community and giving back where we can. After-all, our local community is our biggest client, and it has to be give and take. We support our local community in the following ways:

• We provide employment opportunities for local youths, training them to a high standard and teaching them the life skills the need to be successful
• All our staff are from the DN5 area
• We are proud sponsors of local sports teams Bentley ARLLFC u14 and u12s and local boxers Jamie Hughes and European champion Jason Cunningham
• We played a pivotal role in supplying and installing flooring for those affected by the floods at reduced rates
• We held a charity night for the Bentley floods campaign raising around £1000
• We helped two local families that needed it, after an unfortunate accident meant they need to move homes with free fitting and materials at cost
• We always support local charities that need flooring at reduced rate
• We are always looking to give genuine help in anyone in our local community where possible

We’re very fortunate to be in a position to help others and we’re very grateful to our community in their support of our business venture and in so proud to give something back.
